Foundation in Denmark: Thomas B. THRIGE, a former apprentice of Thomas EDISON (founder of General Electric), establishes his business in Odense, Denmark, to harness electrical power for industrial machinery.
Establishment in France: Engineers Marcel EVE and Paul NOISET establish their specialized engineering workshop in Paris, France, manufacturing heavy electrical rotating machines, motors, and generators.
Thomas B. Thrige Foundation: Ownership of the company is transferred to the Thomas B. Thrige Foundation to safeguard independence and long-term commercial growth.
Formation of Enco: Schneider and Westinghouse partner with EVE and NOISET to form Enco, expanding high-capacity industrial motor production in Nogent-sur-Seine, France.
